Welcome to 30 days of journaling. This book of prompts was created to help you explore your self-esteem through journaling over the course of 30 days. Each page includes a prompt for one day. There are no right or wrong answers. The idea is to use the prompts as a starting point to your journaling for the day. Read the prompt, take some time to think about it, and start to write your response. No editing or revisions are necessary, these responses are for your personal reflections only! I suggest setting aside at least 15 minutes each day for your journaling to make sure you have enough time to think about your responses, write and reflect.
The 30 day idea is just a suggestion. You can of course complete the prompts over a longer period of time if you aren’t able to journal each day. However, I don’t recommend trying to complete more than one a day. By taking your time you are able to give yourself the space to reflect on and process each of your responses.
Even though I am a licensed therapist, these prompts are not meant in any way to be a form of therapy or take the place of your regularly scheduled therapy, doctor’s appointments, group sessions, etc. These prompts are solely intended to be a guide in your own personal journaling practice. If you are in therapy, you may find it helpful to discuss some of the things you reflect on through your journaling.
