Megan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW), licensed to practice in NY and NJ. She completed her BA in Psychology and Sociology from Bucknell University before going on to complete Masters in Social Work (MSW) at The University of Pennsylvania.
Megan trained at Valley Youth House in Philadelphia, Northwestern Human Services in Philadelphia and the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center in Massachusetts while working towards her MSW.
After completing her MSW she has worked in a variety of settings. She has worked as a hospital social worker at Clara Maas Medical Center and NYU Langone Medical Center. She ran the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) program at The Renfrew Center of NJ and later the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) program at The Renfrew Center of NY before moving on to full time private practice in the summer of 2015. Megan's private practice focused on working with clients dealing with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Megan recently completed a Maternal Mental Health Intensive through Seleni Institute in 2019.
In addition to her therapy practice, Megan's interest in yoga led her to seek more intensive training. She completed her 200 hr yoga teacher training in 2015 with Three Sisters Yoga in NYC and received her certification in prenatal and postnatal yoga in 2016 from Maha Mama in NYC. She has also completed trainings on yoga for mental health and yoga for Parkinsons disease and MS through Kula for Karma in NJ.
